A new project

Today I acquired the material for a new project. Sculpey, armature wire, and a concept. All I need is the time.

The result will be a caricature of the clip art above. Stay tuned.

Celebrate the sunshine

The sun came out and so did the flowers. The irises must have decided it was safe to bloom.

The variations of color in a photo got me interested in working with very basic color adjustments. Here is my latest Warholism.

A good exercise it is to take an original photograph and adjust the colors. The ordinary becomes more interesting.

Flowers in a cemetery

If your town allows plantings within a cemetery
you can often find a wide selection of subjects.

Another look

I returned to the garden hoping to get some better pictures of the bumblebees
but the activity was no better than yesterday. Still......

A marginal day

I did walk the woods last week but all I managed to find was deer ticks and poison ivy.There was a siting of some dwarf irises but they had gone by. I made note of the location for next year.

Today I did find one plant with interesting activity.
